Christopher Senie
Christopher Senie has
practiced in the field of land use and land litigation for over 25
years, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut
as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Senie graduated
from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1976 and the
University of Bridgeport School of Law in Bridgeport, Connecticut in
1981.
Mr. Senie has represented condominium developers, commercial
building owners, neighborhood groups and private property owners in
numerous land use matters. He has extensive experience appearing
before lay boards such as Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals
and Conservation Commissions. His practice centers on a theory that
he describes as “winning at town hall,” by which he means that
clients must first be expertly guided by their attorney through the
local approvals process before any litigation is contemplated.
While developing his zoning and land litigation expertise, Mr. Senie
has been an active participant in many community organizations. He
has served on a number of town boards and committees over the years
in his hometown of Westborough, MA including the Master Plan
Advisory Committee, the Housing Partnership, the Government Study
Committee, and the Local Cable TV Board of Directors. In the 1980s,
he won recognition for his role in promoting better understanding
between the Soviet Union and the U.S. as the organizer of a project
known as Bike For Peace, and later became the General Manager of a
real estate venture in Russia.
